...because I imagine you guys are good at finding odd videos that go pleasingly together with serrendipitous intersections and dumb juxtapositions. It's pretty self-explanatory - an application that saves you having to load The Wizard of Oz on media player while your fumbling for Dark Side on itunes. Here's one I prepared earlier, but mostly I just want to see your own. Combined oddities, or otherwise.

Some classic krautrock with Le Ballet Mecanique:

Portishead and some INLAND EMPIRE tribute video which synch up perfectly about 3:36!

You don't need to be all arty like I've tried to be though.

Pretend you're a VJ like in the clubs:

Despite what might be favourably described as the failure of this thread, I feel that 'Look and Read' fans should find this potent:

Icehaven

Was going to post this horrid video some fuckwit made of a collection of b&w clips from the abortion that was Meet Joe Black, which they somehow saw fit/dared to back with New Order's Your Silent Face, but thankfully it's been removed (hopefully from the face of the earth forever.)

Works very well that one.  It was only once he stopped rapping and his video started looping again that I could tell the backing wasn't part of his track.

I wasn't muting either; I like hearing both screams!

Thanks for the hint; I wasn't seeing where people were getting their cut-down urls from!

Mr Eggs

With the left video muted:

Head (1968) - Daddy's Song (dance sequence) vs. Donald, Where's yer Troosers?

http://youtubedoubler.com/3a2k

Timing is critical.  If it doesn't synch up, set Daddy's Song going and hit play on Donald 6 seconds in.  :)

I think you'll agree it fucking works on every level and that consequently I am the best!

Mr Eggs

Well, it's better than this:http://youtubedoubler.com/3a2J (Mute left, hit play on right about 7 seconds in)

But my loathing of the 'Twat in a hat' runs deep.

My Steptoe/Thom Yorke mash-up works on ALL levels.

He's even wearing Alberts hat. He could BE the young Albert Steptoe.

Yes, but see how Davy Jones does his hands for one of the "Donald, Where's Your Troosers?" lines, and the timing with the woman coming on, and loads of other little punctuations.  It's not just dancing to the rhythm with the correct mood; my one, sir, is like watching The Wizard of Oz with Dark Side of the Moon, and no mistake.

Petey Pate

Mark McGowan the Artist Taxi Driver v.s. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack to 'Inception'. Pretty lame yes, but I thought his self righteous fury might be well suited to the background music of a Christopher Nolan film.

Mr Eggs

What EVER.
Check this one out:

Reminds me of 'Watercolour challenge' with Hannah Gordon...

Gotta love those CERAYZEE japanoose!

The 'what EVER' was to Replies From View...not Patey Pate, by the way.

Let no woman or man doubt it, Replies From View was born to do this.

Sorry if that seem to limit your future options in life, Replies From View.

As surely as Shelley Duvall was born to play Olive Oyl, I received your compliment most kindly.
