I always wonder what the resistance to decriminalisation boils down to. As more and more evidence of the benefits of cannabis comes to light, along with evidence that it doesn't actually cause much harm, it seems that antis just take the viewpoint, "I don't want people to get high". Concern about an imploding society consuming cannabis all the time is valid, but is not borne out in the experiences of countries such as the Netherlands or Portugal.
