Felatio Imperative

I'm trying to remember the name of a cartoon that was on in the 90's. It was in the same style as Stressed Eric and was about a man who was basically flat. I always thought it was called Flat Stanley, but I've googled that and nothing came up. Anyway, I remember on the titles it showed him sliding between the grills of a drain cover. I think it was on BBC2 around the time of Ren and Stimpy.
Any ideas?

Paaaaul

Flat Stanley was a children's book about a boy who was flattened when something fell on him. There was a part of the book where he went down a drain to get some money(or something else). Never knew it was a cartoon though.

edit -

Shoulders?-Stomach!

There's a book called Flat Stanley, a terrific short kids story.

Was it Flat World or something like that? I remember something that was on one christmas in the mid to late 90s that fits the description. The main bloke was called Matt Flatt and he had a fish called Chips.

Yeh, I had a look at that when I googled, but it was definitely a cartoon. It may have been on late at night, or around tea time.

JPA

Yes I've heard of the book, not sure if there was an animated version though.

There was Slim Pig, same concept, but a...err, pig.

That could be it. I tried googling flatworld though and didn't get any joy.

Yay, Flat Stanley ruled. It was a pinboard hung over his bed that fell on him, while he was asleep. Flat Stanley!

Yep, FlatWorld is done by a man named Daniel Greaves.

Only available on one of these, apparently (Vol.2)

A short clip (just to verify that this is what you're thinking of) is available here-

Yep, that's it. Thanks.

Squidy

Daniel Greaves created one of the best short cartoons ever, the Academy Award-winning Manipulation. It doesn't appear to be on YouTube sadly, but a brief section of it can be viewed here: http://www.beam.tv/beamreels/beamreel.php?SCCMsJrgQF

It's incredible, isn't it? The sheer amount of planning that must've gone into it boggles the mind. I've been looking for a copy for ages.

Harfyyn Teuport

Fucking hell, that little clip of Manipulation must have taken months on its own - how long was the short feature in its entirety?

I remember Flatworld, thought it was stylistically amazing but a little bit lacking in the humour and character of Wallace & Gromit or Rex the Runt.

7 minutes, according to IMDB.

Reminds me a bit of the end of Don Hertzfeldt's Rejected which I'm sure everyone's seen by now. If you haven't, cliquez ici.
