Blumf

Sketch show based around themes of sex and sexual relations.

Anybody watch it?

Thought it was okay, nothing special, most of the jokes were pretty obvious. Either way, it's funnier than most of Channel 4's comedy output tonight.

My g/f, who has a dirtier laugh than Sid James, enjoyed it so it looks like I'll be watching it again next week.

Saw the first half and rather enjoyed it, despite the rather limited scope. I agree, what i saw was a lot better than most of Channel 4's recent reputed comedy, but then again it wouldn't really take much.

By the way, was one of the ladies - plump, blonde - in Channel 5's other comedy success (ha!) We Know When You Live (with Simon Pegg, Fiona Allen, Sanjeev Baskhir & ex-Mrs Les Dennis)?

The Mumbler

Ella Kenion.  I like her, although I missed this.  Also appears as Office Co-Worker in The Catherine Tate Show, and was in the (for me, rather enjoyable) Hardware.

BagJob

Yeah, I found this a good laugh. Perhaps I enjoyed it more because it hadn't been hyped and I wasn't expecting anything good.

Of course, she was in in Hardware - forgotten about that - not a great show, but was not bad for a few laughs. I daren't watch Catherine Tate - just looking at her makes me angry!

Ella Kenion is in The Green Green Grass from next week, also.

aye, that seemed alright, we caught the last 5 minutes

Series two started tonight. I was a little blurry by ten o'clock but it surpassed my very low expectations. Little else to report due afore mentioned blurriness, sorry. Oh, it's on at 22:00 C5 on Wednesday (now). It was followed by Predictable, sorry, Respectable, a new sitcom set in a well I never brothel, not the worst thing I've seen recently, is it worth a thread? Little more to say due to wine induced haze.

Mister Cairo

Quotenot the worst thing I've seen recently, is it worth a thread? Little more to say due to wine induced haze.

Probably, I'd like to know how tasteless it was and I don't really want to watch that kind of comedy. I sound like Mary Whitehouse, I'm off to ban some porn.
