The Giggling Bean

This might be the most obscure question asked on here. Does anyone know what the piece of music is called they use for the theme tune to "Bang On Target" the regional news show? The bloody thing won't get out of my head now. It's in S1 EP 4.

It's at the 22:43 mark here.  https://youtu.be/epfOpsX1T9M?t=1363

Sounds like something from a 1980's Bruton Music/KPM production music album, but the clip is so short and with talking over it that it's pretty much un-Shazam-able.

Is it not likely to be original music by Morris and Jonathan Whitehead?

I did wonder whether it was library music or specifically composed.

All I can hear is a generic one-second synth orchestra news sting? Am I missing something?

Don't know the title but it is definitely used in first series of The Imaginatively Titled Punt & Dennis Show from 1994 in episode 2 for the Roger Cook spoof "Punty Takes a Butchers".

Probably a generic library music piece as I'm sure there were others used by On The Hour that I heard on local radio stations in the late 80s.

That AI vocals remover website should be able to remove Chris Morris' voiceover from the music. You'll just need to edit the specific bit you want into it's own MP3
