"The First Of May" by the Bee Gees arrived on my iPod today and lead me to think of other songs that mention Christmas but aren't Christmas songs.

So far all I've got is the above and "Full Measure" by the Lovin' Spoonful

Glebe

'Stop the Cavalry' didn't originally mention Christmas, I think?

Blue Öyster Cult - Redeemed

Last track of the first album. Always struck me as odd, but then it does have an air of nonsense verse about it so the effect is probably deliberate

'River' by Joni Mitchell.

'Calling and Not Calling my Ex' by Okkervil River (the lyrics mention Christmas Eve).

It's a Christmas song that sounds Christmassy about it not being Christmas.
