[VIDEO] HILLARY CLINTON DRUNK ON AIR?! (RE-EDIT-MASH)

my latest (and Morris-inspired) short re-edit for your comedy pleasure:

Mob Bunkhaus

Daring of you to make such a film with a complete disregard of comic timing.

I didn't think the central conceit was amusing. The notion of Hillary Clinton claiming to be purposefully targeting women and children dosen't really have any potential humour in it and since that was the gist of the whole thing it just pottered along being competently made. Making it sound like people are saying the opposite of what they're actually saying is not really sufficient, you needed a strong funny idea that they're expressing to propel it along.

Shit sandwich. In fact, most videos of this type are shit. This one made me laugh though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QapZI2cLQQ&feature=related

Robot DeNiro

I thought the edits were very smoothly done, hardly noticeable at all, and I liked the "One Word" gag.  I think the whole thing's too long though - in my opinion this sort of thing needs to be very special if it's to hold the attention for more than a couple of minutes.

It was alright. Why are people being so mean? Generally I agree with what Robot De Niro said.

It's not being mean. I just didn't think it was funny. Robot's right that the edits are smooth, but if the interview had been left completely unedited then the edits would have been perfect. My point is that there didn't seem to be an awful lot of editing, and therefore humour, going on.

Did anyone else hear the Cassetteboy praising going on in this week's Adam & Joe show on 6music?
