Vodka Margarine started it with a shout for the video of Tracey Ullman's Sunglasses, featuring Ade Edmondson.

I'll go for an easy one, here's Sadowitz as Ebeneezer Goode

Let's make a list of every single slightly cheesy cameo-by-a-comedian goofy pop video (unless we've done it already in which case someone just post a link)

Panbaams

Pet Shop Boys: "I'm with stupid", starring David Walliams and Matt Lucas. (It's a spoof of earlier CGI extravaganzas for "Can you forgive her?" and "Go west".)

Didn't Rowan Atkinson do something with Kate Bush?

And French and Saunders I think. And Tim McInnerny if he counts

Claude the Racecar Driving Rockstar Super Sleuth

Tenacious D appear in the video for Learn to Fly by the Foo Fighters.

There's Dawn French & Hugh Laurie in the Experiment IV video. Tim McInnerny in This Woman's Work, Miranda Richardson & Peter Richardson in The Line The Cross & The Curve and Robbie Coltrane & Noel Fielding in Deeper Understanding.

The Bluetones - Mudslide

With Matt Lucas & David Walliams

The Bluetones themselves of course featured in Spaced.

Hugh Laurie in the video for Annie Lennox's Walking on Broken Glass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y25stK5ymlA

Rather smart casting as he plays Prince George.

Ade actually really had form for this. Here he is as some kind of campy sci-fi villain in We've Got A Fuzzbox And We're Gonna Use It's International Rescue.

I think he spent a few years in the late 80s working as a music video director, which might explain things.

I was trying to remember which early 90's indie pop band had Vic Reeves introduce them in one of their videos. However my Googling came up with this... skip to 1:35

Marc Maron and Tim Heidecker amongst others in "Sensitive Man" by Nick Lowe

Others including, bafflingly, Mark Lamarr. Nicky must have been big into US alternative comedy at this time because Paul F Tompkins stars in the video for Stoplight Roses off of the same album.

Billy Joel's Keeping the Faith has Richard Prior and just as big a name, Joe Piscopo.

Which Yo La Tengo track has Bob Odenkirk and David Cross in the music video, explaining that Rock must involve Lord of the Rings imagery?

I may be wrong but i'm sure Nick Lowe played this on a Comedy Bang Bang when PFT was a fellow guest.

Coincidence?
