The most incredible thing about that is the crap production of the video. Obviously the locations are 'nearest suburban field' and 'nearest suburban nature walk' so probably will never look that great but the washed out video and ancient video titling really does make it look 10+ years old when you compare it to the terrible budget dnb track I posted on page 1 that was probably made by a media student with a dslr and a cracked copy of after effects.

Once he turned 13 years old, he was given a private house tutor. He was later accepted into the Brit School to study art, where he struggled with discipline initially, but soon found his place.

I think that sums up the landfill indie thing really well: he looks so fucking smug, utterly self-satisfied that he's somehow incredibly authentic and genuine with his shit sounding acoustic guitar playing two chords for a whole song accompanied by a drum machine as if it's anything other than a half-arsed demo. The sort of music that would probably be tolerable if it was presented with humility and tenderness but is utterly destroyed by the yeah I'm a fuckin lad but I'm like in touch with my emotions like everyone should be totally feelin this authentic rock n roll man attitude behind it.
