C4 & C5 Down

Subtitles were supposed to be back today on on Ch4 so I put them on during Gogglebox & The Last Leg to see if they were back, and they were utterly diabolical.  There were subtitles for the pre-credit sequence of Gogglebox then no subtitles for 5 minutes they they came on in dribs and drabs, only catching the first half or the 2nd half of a joke and missing the rest, and being totally absent for long periods.  Some were appearing way late as if they were being typed live, but then some came up before the line was said disproving that.  Later for Last Leg they were also sporadic, fucking up gags by only displaying half of it, or appearing on the screen at breakneck speed making them too hard to read.  Teething troubles, I guess.
