Finished it tonight, some great character dynamics, a few surprises and plenty of touching scenes in the final third of the series. I'd heard the finale was poor but it seemed very much in the keeping with the themes the series had tried to develop. Some satisfying resolutions and some intrigue. It was rarely very subtle but it has heart and I enjoyed it a lot.

I find it somewhat confusing why the parents can't just say to the children "It's a giant model of a doll from a TV show for adults". What do they say when they walk past an advertising poster for an adult film on a bus stop?

The show may have taken the world by storm, but a Squid Game attraction at the Trafford Centre proved less than popular with some parents.

A huge three-metre tall animatronic doll appeared at the shopping centre at the weekend - a replica of the one used in the notorious 'Red Light, Green Light' episode of the Netflix show.
