I saw this a few weeks ago, and couldn't stop thinking about it ...by happy coincidence the second part was released around a week ago!

Its an astonishing accomplished thing, and very much the work of an auteur with limitless vision limited to his means...watch it and you'll know what I'm trying to say...

The talent and skill has a nearly supernatural quality, its perfect in the sense that its one bloke animating on what appears to be a very rudimentary program and not quite reaching his immense and limitless vision

Also the music and foley art is incredible, it's all so good...additionally I watched it after 4 bags of ketamine and it was perfect for that, in that it's tantalising but also relaxing and comforting

I recall when I watched the evangelion film and just marvelled at the detail and that films like this weren't allowed to be made any more this is one of those films, flawed, demented but made with passion and endless vision. I am so happy this exists.

It is a very engrossing work. Quite Lynchian in the way that, although the story may be fairly simple once you dig through, the imagery and sound sink into you.

For those not wanting to take the plunge on the epic Interface story, these two shorts featuring a soothsaying Campbells soup give a representative feel:

just discovered Umami. I love the Campbell's Soup character
