You wonder if there is a tradition to refer to the actual London Bridge or the station by a different name within the palace.

The Scottish Station.

London Bridge is a shit bridge that people only ever talk about when confusing it with another more popular bridge. Which in many ways makes it the worst possible choice. There's that many bridges named after the Queen, they should probably steer clear of bridges, like ships, railways, and conference centres. Codename Wormwood Scrubs.

LONDON BRIDGE IS DOWN...

... because it doesn't open. You're thinking of Tower Bridge

No I'm not. London Bridge is Falling Down.

Mrs Robinson, my arse.

Is it still Haunted Dancehall (Nursery Remix) by Sabres of Paradise on daytime radio that we should be listening out for, or does the Buck House Spotify Playlist recommend something more contemporary?

The one goes not long after the other. Pretty common, isn't it?

Frank Sinatra considers rewrite, or whoever actually wrote it does

Think they prefer "chiropractor" these days.

Humans and chiropractors have never coexisted.  Stop getting all of your science knowledge from the Flintstones.

Think the whole nation's accepting this by now, more or less a dead cert of Queenie carked before Crimbo. Are the bookies taking bets on it?

Bookies aren't going to make a book on such a sick, bad taste bet.

I will though. PM me for odds, special offers for first timers, all welcome*

*Safer gambling notice- Remember, when the Queen drops, STOP

Isn't it illegal for bookies to offer odds on celebrity deaths? To discourage murder and that?

Nothing to stop us having a sweepstake though...

She also invented Pizzagate, inspired by her favourite son.

Ah, so it is. I used to work near London Bridge and should have remembered this. Yep, London Bridge is pretty nondescript, useful but purely functional.
