Ever found something that reminded you of Look Around You (especially s2) but was real...
Not just the usual education shows.

Found this 1976 ITV/Thames Today discussion on the paranormal.
Featuring
a wrestling obsessed woman named Pandora who is the descendant of Theseus and Casanova
A bloke who wants to build a manmade island to celebrate the year 2000
A town cried named Lord Shepherd who thinks he is superior to the peerage.
The sinister broken-legged aristo who is preparing for future war and thinks he was reincarnated from a succession of Jews.
The Howard and Hilda Hughes-esque male and female beefeaters, one of whom is Hansford Miller of the English Nationalist Party, who believes a tunnel should be built under the Thames

Astonishing.

As an aside, I just looked this guy up and found an amusing titbit on Wikipedia.

QuoteHansford-Miller never had children, and attracted attention in 2001 by campaigning to be cloned, complaining that, while "reproductive technology" for women was available, there was no help available for him to reproduce.

Sounds like something from one of the American segments of The Day Today!

The woman at 4:45 is pleasingly hatstand.
