Dunno if it was mentioned here but when he got Ice T to say "F this clown" about Starmer it felt like the fabric of reality was bending briefly to one man's chaotic-good-driven whim.

This appears to be a genuine reincarnation:

edit: didn't realise it was the same guy behind the David Amess Memorial Foundation account. That one got away with a lot for a long time as well iirc.

Quote from: Jumblegraws on April 27, 2024, 06:38:35 PMThey made a piss-weak crack about George Monbiot that was the sort of joke Prof Keir (née David) Balls would find funny, so I hope it isn't actually W4W.

M4W blocked someone, which W4W never did, which seems to be the smoking gun

Sebastian Cobb

Was w4w also the guy who used to send pencil sketches to Ian Austin of him fucking dogs? Think there was another sketch of someone fingering Starmer's bum while he came all over his own chest. Very puerile but it made me lol.

I know, I'd heard some unverified rumours.

Had a look with the account I follow lefty accounts with and I'm blocked!

Very much enjoyed this sequence of posts:

Old Thrashbarg

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cg33x9jm02ko

Article on the BBC about the "Men for Wes" account and the "network" of associated posters. Obviously takes a very one-sided view and reads as though the only people manipulating social media content distribution are leftist trolls.

Fambo Number Mive

I'm baffled by the Undercover Voters stuff mentioned by the BBC. Are they setting up fake profiles?

I always saw the Women For Wes,Bazake Media and similar accounts as satirical.

king_tubby

The TBEU lot are not connected with 'Men4Wes' (which wasn't Women4Wes in a new guise) and the people from the article who's mighty satires are mostly photoshopping Kier Starmer getting bummed off Jimmy Savile.

Yeah, and I think that article is entirely about a different group of people (who might want to be part of the TBEU, but simply aren't as funny or clever). Men For Wes is just some opportunistic cunt who's stolen the Women For Wes identity after the original account got banned.

edit: yeah, as @king_tubby says.

idunnosomename

Men4Wes is what is known as "Borto adjacent". That is, probably the incredibly unfunny tryhard formerly going by El Borto, fully just posting for clicks, and often undermining any leftist cause.

Thus it is incredibly funny that BBC super cyber sleuth Marianna Spring has unveiled it as some master disinformation network on the left.

Funny thing about the BBC's desire to push Marianna as this young online specialist when she has nothing but the most superficial of insight, when you look her up she has exactly the sort of background you'd expect her to have

what's the real threat to our democracy, the inseparable relationship between journalists and politics and the people moving seamlessly between them, or is it @LeninsCum69 posting fibs about unlikable freak luke akehurst?

It's impossible to know.

Meanwhile, I see that there's an account called @Eyuplovely who seems devoted to promoting someone called Baroness Jenny Chapman. Interested to see how this develops

Quote from: king_tubby on June 07, 2024, 11:58:59 AMThat's the actual reincarnation of Women4Wes etc.

Ah, right! (not Men 4 Wes? or are they all the same?)

Good point, I got confused between Men4Wes and Women4Wes.

It is a bit confusing. So:

EyupLovely/Women4Wes/TrilateralKieth/ QueersforKier/DavidAmesFoundation is one slightly unhinged bloke who nevertheless is pretty funny and has dug up some actual news.

Men4Wes was somebody pretending to be them for Twitter clout/numbers after Women4Wes got banned, probably one of the Z tier shitpost accounts associated with El Borto/etc.

Neither are TBEU, but there's overlap with the first - I'm not on Twitter much but I've seen Zands/Knox/Churnwell mocking Men4Wes and associates. I think the actual Trevor Bastard is keeping out of it, Zands/Knox/etc are, as far as I can work out, one of the others behind the scenes.

Why any of this is in my brain I have no idea, but you know, it's a hobby.

dunno if they actively browse but tbeu must be aware of this place as ovens has mentioned it more than once

And where does Simon Hedges fit into this picture?

iamcoop

Ovens has posted banana memes about Glinner as well so they definitely lurk on here.

Fuck knows who "does" Hedges but they're quality. His 'likes' are always gold.

Whoever does Churnwell used to host Twitter live feeds as well (occasionally with Ovens popping in so I'm assuming they're separate people doing them) and they used to be really funny too.

Separate initially but kind of got sucked in to the whole thing.

idunnosomename

Hedges is pseudo-anonymous because he has done some in-character columns for Red Pepper magazine, but I suppose even they might not even know who he is (unless for tax purposes they needed to put him on their payroll?)
