Skullflower.

Remembered by me as a side-project of 80s noise-rock fellows Ramleh, I assumed that at some point in the 90s, other guitar-musics had taken over the venues they could make a few quid in, and they'd all been forced to get proper jobs. Well, I was half-right - despite a hiatus from 1996-ish to 2003-ish, they're still making music now, and it sounds pretty much like you'd expect Skullflower to sound. Nice long psychedelic noise jams, a bit cleaner than their "heyday" but still interesting.

I like their most recent album cover (image on Bandcamp, almost the same thing) but it appears they just ripped it off some 2017 Tumblr site.

One for the musical hat f****d thread!  My one and only experience of playing a gig was supporting Skullflower (1992).  It is with some caution that I say that we went down a lot better than they did, but we were a tuneful indie-pop bunch of fey pretty boys so the Doc Marten/German-army-surplus-shirt-lasses hit the dancefloor for our frothy yet knowing ephemera and...did/could not for the headliners.  Hopefully their current incarnation hasn't yet opted for the hats and suits look of many an aged-out band.
