If it's on iPlayer then I'd say just use a free vpn for your browser, if you don't fancy that I can upload them for you.

Mobius

I use a VPN called PrivateInternetAccess, and have never had any luck getting it to work with iPlayer, All4 and stuff like that. To be honest I'm not sure why I pay for it. Is there a free VPN for Google Chrome?

Quote from: BeardFaceMan on August 02, 2022, 12:26:12 AMI think I have the full version of that, there's no cut after the 'urban decay' bit, anyway, and it clocks in at 28:04. I'll get it uploaded tomorrow.

Wouldn't mind a copy of this too!

I use one called Browsec with Firefox, just tried it and it works with iPlayer, there's an extension available for Chrome too (there are free and paid versions).

And here's the 15SH ep for those who want it - https://www.mediafire.com/file/a42h8jq81ih8asd/15_Storeys_High_-_S02_E05_-_Errol%2527s_Girlfriends_.mp3/file

Does anyone know where you can find Series 2 of "A Prince Among Men"? I know that one episode is up but not the rest.

Also, kinda want to find "All About Me", but only one low-quality episode is up online.

Afraid I can't find it on Tv Chaos or MySpleen, it's frustrating, there's a few Sky Arts shows I'd like from that period (the Christmas shorts especially) that are really hard to track down as Sky were so hot on taking down any of their shows, even when it was a private torrent site.

Sadly neither of them are on the aforementioned sites either.

Quote from: Mobius on August 02, 2022, 12:28:34 AMI'd love another listen of 15 Storeys radio version too, cheers!

Also I think I may have asked this before but does anyone know where one can listen to the radio show Down The Line ? I'm outside of England so iPlayer/official BBC stuff won't work.

https://fourble.co.uk/podcast/downline

would this work?  it's probably archive.org but I don't know

appreciate you've probably found it since August but it never hurts to check!

ShadowRaichu

Thanks anyway. I'm honestly annoyed that you can't get that sort of stuff easily from the BBC if they're not releasing it commercially, because I'm also interested in "Get Fit with Brittas" and the 1995 and 1996 editions of Children in Need.

1995 had "We All Pull Together" hosted by Rolf Harris. Not sure if he spat on his hands first, but I hope this helps.

Don't suppose anyone's got Matt Berry's spoof documentary 'Road to Brexit' sat on a Google Drive anywhere, have they?
It was on BBC2 sometime in 2019.  Written by him and Arthur Matthews.  He's playing his Michael Squeamish character and it had some decent people in it.  It was generally a bit shit but had a couple of good bits in it and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.  I did have it on an old laptop from a (probably now long dead) torrent but that laptop carked it a long time back.
YouTube only has a short clip as far as I could see.

I don't have it but I can get it - I've an hour of work left today, but once I've finished I'll download / upload it for you, unless anyone else posts it sooner.

I'm on the lookout for an episode of Comedy Lab called Captain V (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0360250/) Someone on this forum whos name I no longer remember was involved in the writing or creation or SOMETHING?? but as far as I can see it doesn't appear to have ever ever ever made it online. I loved it at the time and I dunno if my 21+ year old memory of it is failing but either way i'd love to see it again. I still sometimes think about

"MY CACTUS IS BROKEN!"

and mutter it out loud in idle moments. Thouht about it after finding Best Of British again which I was obsessed with and recommend, same team as Focus North I think???  - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbNjgy_YfRw

The Giggling Bean

Here's one, does the music video for "Christmas Wrapping" by Baldrick and the Angel Voices (Tony Robinson) still exist anywhere? I remember when it came out, back in 1990, he was promoting it on Going Live or one of the Saturday morning kids shows and they played the music video for the song. It pops into my head around Christmas time and I thought I'd rewatch it...but there's only a rip of the song with various photos of him from Blackadder up.

Also am I right in remembering that Neil's Hole in my Shoe had a long lost music video too?

Malcy

Long shot as I've tried a few times and my memory of this gets more and more vague.

A CH4 comedy pilot, blap, thing about someone stopping, or trying to stop smoking. I checked all the available ones a few times and never found it.

At this stage I don't even know if it was funny or even good but I think of it from time to time.

That and a comedy blap by Neil Hamburger (maybe?). He's a guru at one point, skateboards, goes for high five's and shouts "deeeeenied, denied".

I had it on an old Sky box but couldn't get it off the hard drive with the rest of the stuff for some reason.

Never managed to find the Minister For Guitar-Based Rock sketch from one of Harry and Paul's old 80s/90s series, anyone got it?

"Harry Enfield's Television Programme" is the one they were on, and there's an appearance by Vincent from Amsterdam and Sergei from Russia here at just after 17 minutes:

I think the user on here you're thinking of is called "abbot lau", who you interacted with about Captain V/Comedy Lab in this thread - https://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=19052.0 (I found that thread by Googling site:cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums "captain v")

He describes his experience in detail in this thread - https://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=7921.0

In the latter thread, he did say he would upload Captain V and post a link in that thread but never did (post a link, I mean)

On the imdb page, there's a link under the Details heading to the "Official Website of Writers/Creators" aka http://www.bluntproductions.com/, which is now redirected to www.zerobudgetfilmschool.com. The zerobudget website references a guy called Ben Slotover, who is listed as one of the co-writers of Captain V on imdb and is also named as one of the co-writers on this Blunt Productions Wordpress site -https://bluntproductions.wordpress.com/about-blunt-productions/

So either Ben Slotover is/was "abbot lau" or knows the guy who is, so you could get into contact with Ben via the various social media sites he's on (listed on the zerobudget website) and ask if he or his co-writer did ever get around to uploading Captain V and/or if they could send you a copy.

This page archived from 2005 around the same time of abbot lau's posts about uploading Captain V say it had been made available to buy on the "Blunt Productions VHS" along with DVDs of their other stuff.

Says it's incomplete, and does contain adverts from the original recording but better than nothing.

Yes that would be the one - none of those episodes are working for me on Dailymotion though, plays an advert then just stops on a black screen...?
