Got one from off of CEX by using my CEX credit. Chucked a bit of extra money at it and got an iPhone 13 because I'm a cunt. It's good. I was a bit like ohh I won't be able to install emulators on it but actually how many Android phones have I now loaded up with roms and then never played? Loads. Only downside is no cheeky unauthorised YouTube app with no ads.

If you have BT or Sky broadband, go through them and you probably get a better deal. Any broadband cunts probably offer decent phone deals these days.

Depends what you want to do with it, but I think the iPhone SE is a pretty good deal provided you don't care about having the latest camera or what-have-you.

But if I didn't want to pay silly money I'd just get an older model - still got my iPhone 11, it's still as good as the day I got it and really the only major difference with 12 and 13 is the base models have OLED now.  Yet this is a really good LCD.

I always get mine second hand but it's a bit of a lottery. Got an iPhone 7 and the battery died in minutes, sent it back and got an 8, which has a great battery. I've used Music Magpie and Envirofone.

If I was gonna get a new(ish) one I'd use Apple's refurb store.

The original iPhone SE is still supported until September with iOS 14; same design as the iPhone 5 which is pretty timeless imo and operates just fine.

12 Mini can be gotten for okay money at this point, screen is as big as is reasonably needed and both cameras are pretty great. Face ID is a massive pain in the arse with masks though, even without them I hate it.

Think the new SE is worst of both worlds in a lot of ways, as big as a 12 mini but without the great screen and cameras. Touch ID is so much better than Face ID it might still be worth it though.

I got a Samsung S21 and it seems to shit on my mate's iPhone. I suppose Android is a much more variable ranges though, iPhone is just one thing - an iPhone.
