Do you know any good "book tube" channels or vids?

I'm a very bookish boy and I also like to watch YouTube videos of people not doing very much, just showing us around their apartment or reviewing coffee shops or whatever. You'd think I'd like "book tube" then, right? People showing us their recent aquisitions (okay, their "hauls") and showing off their home libraries and whatnot?

Somehow, I always find them boring and unwatchable. A lot of the time it's because "book tube" (not sure why, but the term annoys me too) vids are presented by young people with their series of chunky fantasy/YA novels that sound samey and frankly just terrible.

Nowt against nice young people. I might be an old but I enjoy their travel vlogs and the likes. It's just that their taste in books is, if not bad, just very different to mine I suppose. They have a weird tendency to set reading targets as well ("30 books in a year!") which I don't relate to at all. And sometimes they're either in league with (or ingratiating themselves to) big publishers with videos like "this Spring's releases from so-and-so!"

But there must be something bookish out there to enjoy, right?

Anyone here up on the old book tube? Any recommendations?

@Martin Van Buren Stan, you and I must be on a very narrow crossover point on a Venn Diagram somewhere. Because I've seen this one! In fact I'm quite a fan of Momus and his Open Universities.

Here's a thread I started about them in Picture Box: https://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=84617.0

Fake edit: in trying to find this thread, I found other references to Momus on CaB including one you started rencently but also this more positive one: https://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=49646.0

I used to know a guy on Youtube called Reamce who is a huge collector of novels (from high lit to pulp airport) and occult books. His collection tours were always cool. I think he deleted a lot of videos though. edit - seems he's on Dailymotion

Find him too up himself, but he does have good taste, I will say that.

Though I haven't watched his videos in a long time, sounds like Steve Donoghue might be up your street. He's a professional reviewer who posts videos every day, does a book haul once or twice a week with very interesting pickups, and seemingly does nothing but read books and walk his dog. Very opinionated, occasionally ornery, has me rolling my eyes sometimes when he goes off on one of his well-trodden rants, however he is amazingly knowledgeable about books from classics to genre stuff, and can just talk and talk about this stuff forever. His recall is amazing. He was doing a Daily Penguin Classic series where he'd discuss one of the classics, so if you have particular favourites, look up those videos for a taster.
