Seriously though all the browns are generally good I thought. Green quite bad, black bad, red potentially very bad.

Very dark (like, almost black) brown can be an indication of bleeding higher up in the digestive system, which can itself be (although isn't necessarily) a sign of cancer.

Red, wet blood in stools probably just a sign of piles.

Dunno about orange shit, but definitely some questions about diet that need to be asked here.

Does this really happen? I eat a fair bit and have started adding it to rice as well now but haven't really noticed.

My shit goes proper light if I have a boozy weekend and skip meals then follow it up with a chippy tea on monday, it's almost as light as the chips were going in.

often if it's red it's just a worn ring or piles, not even come "out" your arse really. Although if you can fill a pint glass with it, it's probably time to pop a bit of clingfilm on the top of the glass and head down the doctors.
