Does anyone know if The Comedy Map of Britain series is available online anywhere? There's the odd episodes but not the full lot. Anyone manage to save them?

Twilkes

A standup from 20-30 years ago who had a bit about not taking the top slice of bread, but reaching down a couple of slices to get one that was fresher - anyone remember who that was?

It's Paul Hogan, it's one of my favourite bits, it'll never leave me!

POISON

Twilkes

It was neither of those, think they were British, but it must be a fairly common observation then - iirc it was someone talking about how they'd done the routine and an audience member had written to them afterwards saying how funny they found it because that's what they all do at home too. Might have been someone like Dave Gorman or Jason Manford, although I don't think it was either of them. There was an exaggerated mime of reaching down into the packet of bread too. Doesn't really matter anymore though, it was just a whim. :)

By the way, was that a comedy outfit he was wearing or is that the male equivalent of Spinal Tap's "Australian's Nightmare"?

Good One of Wally

It`s a long shot, but does anyone know where I might find Joel Robinson`s Jolly Filter demo
(Rollercoaster)?

This seems a bit out there, but does anyone have a talking heads BBC doc called "When Rock Ruled The World"? It was on in 2002, and had people like Vic Reeves and Marc Radcliffe taking the piss and reminiscing about 70s and 80s rock music. It was in the same type that "I Love the 90s" and all that was.

There's a reasonable amount of it on Youtube, in smaller segments.

was that the one where Vic talked about 70s rockers/greasers "pissing on their jeans"? I remember being bemused by that (and it's the only part I can remember)
