Anyone listen to albums on Blu-Ray? I've only just cottoned on after buying the new Camel box-set (which has five albums on BD) that I've a load of these on bonus discs going back years but have never listened to one of them. I suppose the appeal is the surround sound mixes that are on them but most of them appear to have stereo mixes as well.

Think I'll give one of the Camel discs a spin today and see if I can tell much difference, it'll be running through a hi-fi whose sound is reliably lovely so I'm hoping it will fuckin CHANGE MY LIFE.

I have some, mostly in box sets and whatnot, but I've never had a crazy expensive set up for it, just a Blu-ray player hooked up to a tv, so I doubt I'm getting any advantage from owning them.

I own Metal Machine Music on Blu-ray audio which if nothing else is extremely "on brand", as they say
