Anyone else ever seen this?
Bizarre 1984 Christmas BBC2 comedy-thriller starring Angela Lansbury and Lord Olivier, based on a minor Broadway sub-Sleuth/Deathtrap with Claudette Colbert in the Lansbury role.
It's quite astonishing.
From that era when big BBC2 dramas were still mainly shot on VT with OB exteriors, so it looks like a CBBC show, down to Tracey Childs pre-Howard's Way dressed as Chaplin, and dialogue out of a CBBC show, and phoney Noo Yawk/Southern accents. And a comedy Indian manservant (though played by actual Asian Tariq Yunus).

https://youtube.com/watch?v=1sCI8nhlLlg&t=246s It's at times like a Victoria Wood parody of US daytime soaps. Angela Lansbury is playing a mystery novelist, but her turn as far from Jessica Fletcher. She's not so much chewing the scenery as whizzing about in her electric wheelchair, munching bits, spitting out and munching some more.
