When you've done with your disruption and are looking for something less discordant (more cordant?), I recommend Douglas Leedy's "The Harmonarium". The cover, shown as the thumbnail on the video below, doesn't really do it justice, looking like a bad 90s rave tape.


The actual piece itself is about 20 minutes long, but Youtube has it in parts for some reason.

Fucking Tony Conrad man. These two videos have sent me on a very enjoyable Conrad rabbit hole. I haven't listened to him properly for years - probs not since the mid-90s.

His work has aged very fucking well. Check this out:

Famous Mortimer

Rhys Chatham, who's worked with all the big names of avant garde music, did a project called "The Essentialist" which is attempting to "arrive at an a priori essence of heavy metal, reducing it to a basic chord progression". I think if you're in this thread, you'll probably enjoy it.
