The journo maybe used to work for Smash Hits, they did that sort of thing all the time.

I call them The Shops.

Heard the new Shops album? Yeah it's crap.

Then he should've called them "Ver Pets"

When Dave Bowie died there were loads of articles calling him "The Starman" That can fuck right off.

Public Service Broadcasting would like a word.

To tell you how unoriginal and crap they are.

We're still okay to call Wet Wet Wet 'the Wets' though, right?

Do you know that Stereophonics fans call them The 'Phonics?

Ironically, 'Phonics' fans don't tend to have very high reading levels 😂

I never see boys in pet shops. They're usually staffed by women, like in Rocky.

Did anyone refer to Bowie himself as 'Starman' when he was alive? As in, "RIP wee Starman, 69 is no age" etc. It seemed to me it happened (from non-fans/dafties) overnight after he carked it.  I mean he was Ziggy, Thin White Duke, Screaming Lord Byron etc etc etc. but I've no recollection of him personally being known as 'Starman', with the song sung from the point of view of an observer of said Starman, as opposed to a character he embodied.  Fuck's sake

Wahey! :D

JesusAndYourBush

Smash Hits called him something like Dame David of Bowie.

They were named after that hamster-up-the-arse pastime.
