You're bollocks and boring!

I'm gonna play a game with non-Euclidian geometry now, which you wouldn't touch because you're a LAME-O.

Still haven't completed Baldur's Gate 2, despite playing it for hundreds of hours. I've lost a couple of late saves due to computer crashes in the early 2000s and in more recent years have decided to start new saves after the Underdark a couple of times but it's not as simple as starting the game again as I always start my characters in BG1 and export them to BG2.

Hope to finish it by the time BG3 is released.

Same, but with Planescape: Torment. My steam always runs out around the bit where you're poking around some vampire's shop, finding esoteric uses for everything in their inventory.

Half Life 2 has long stretches where I'm not particularly having fun, not really a fan of either of the vehicles, and that bridge bit among others. There's always sections where I'd replay it where I think. "I don't really like this bit"

And the shooting's not that great, and the plot is bobbins. HL2 is one of the most overrated games of all time. I came to it lateish but only by a year or two, and even by then the glitz had worn off.

No.  The only way to acquire the Knights of the Round summon materia, is via a gold chocobo.  The airship can't land because the island is too small.

What did it allow you to do?  Whatever it was I didn't need it because I still finished the game.

It was an insanely powerful summon, not necessary for finishing the game, but very helpful and especially helpful if you were going to do all the extra Weapon bosses.

More shame:

I've never finished Resident Evil.

I've never played Resident Evil 2, for more than a few minutes.

I don't think I ever completed SMB1-3. Hardly played SMW. Can't recall completing SM64. All on my favourite ever games list.

I've never completed Ocarina of Time, another of my favourite games ever.

I've never completed a Sonic game.

I've never got a 1CC on Mushihimesama Futari Black Label, oh, wait, yes I fuckin have!

I mean if we list popular games we've never played then I'd probably win. Never played any Resident Evil, Zelda, Hitman, Sonic, Doom, Call of Duty, Metal Gear Solid, FIFA, Halo, Ultima, Tomb Raider, Pheonix Wright, God only knows what else. Never finished a Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Fable, Fallout, god only knows what else.

#noshame because all the games I play are great and all the games other people play are rubbish.

Ok, a little bit of shame for never havin finished any Mass Effect or Fallout (1, 2 or NV, who cares otherwise).

I climbed up that ladder in MGS more than a few times to see Meryl in her undercrackers

I also got binned off by a lovely girlfriend who came to ours and caught me playing world cup 98 on the N64 with champ manager on the PC and a Liverpool match on the radio.

Is that a binnable offence?

I like FFX Blitzball.
I was too scared to finish Eternal Darkness as a kid and would probably find it even more terrifying now.
I don't like Undertale mostly due to its fanbase.
I find Zachtronics games impossible after the first couple of levels and for each one I just copy other people's solutions and don't understand why they work.
GTA V was bad and GTA IV is the best one.

Why would you even buy Zachtronic games if you do this?! If I've been stuck on one for genuinely ages I'll have a look at a solution to get the gist, then close the tab and try again, but I've never wholesale just copied a solution.

I mean, I've also never quite finished a Zachronic game...But I will! Eventually!

I confessed this in the thread, but I downloaded some cheat program for Undertale to give me invincibility so I could beat Undyne - and later, Sans - during a Genocide run. First time I understood what Dara O'Brian was talking about on Gameswipe - I was having a fucking amazing time with the story of that game, but I was too shit to beat certain characters.

I would prefer to watch a YouTube video in that case, so I wouldn't have to personally experience having cheated the game.

There aren't games that are prohibitively difficult for me, but some I just don't want to bother spending the time on and in those cases YouTube vids are always better than cheating for me.

If you're doing a genocide run of undertale, you get whatever pain and suffering you deserve.

My first experience of GTA4, in front of all my housemates at uni, saw me stabbed to death by a tramp in an alleyway within about two minutes of having full control over my character. My housemates found this very funny indeed.

The original of course, not played any of the recent ones.
