, Alex Jones,

I was super excited until I saw the images and realized there must be another one

Although Eclair and a couple of others have been quite good value, the standard of contestant has been down a bit on last time. Lots of sports people who are entirely uninteresting. Last year they had one week with Russell Brand, John Lithgow, Jon Richardson and Hannah Cockroft (a wheelchair racer), and while you may not like all of them (but surely you like at least one), it was people with actual personality and far more entertaining than any this year.

In these enlightened times of 2020, why are we baking celebrities on television?

I refuse to take even a viewing part in such a cruel proposition.

I don't know if I can humour the feckless shenanigans of Celebrity Bake Off this year.

Can we have a cooking show where the people do something quietly and well?

I'll watch the Tan France one, not arsed about the rest.
