Alberon

To be fair, he did more than his fair share of serious stuff as well.

So RIP (Picture Box)?

Fucking hell. So out of the blue.

He was so good in Friday Night Dinner and Chernobyl.

Fuck. Wasn't even 60.

He reminds me of my dad, who's older, so this feels heavy.

Brain tumour.

It's weird that he had a 30-year career, and then became a worldwide meme in just the last 3 years of his life.

I saw The Guardian (and probably others) have gone with the "star of Harry Potter" line.

He was in big Bond and Dan Brown stuff too. You could also say RIP Deeper into Movies. Goes to show how versatile he was.

The CaB equivalent of triple threat.

The first time I heard of Paul Ritter I had him mixed up with John Ritter and exclaimed "Didn't he die midway through filming a sitcom?". Disturbing in hindsight. Easily the highlight of Friday Night Dinner, big loss.

Shalom, Paul.

Brain tumours are a bastard. My dad died of an aggressive one.
